You are not a Sabahan if you do not know the short form of "BBKK"!!!

Ok-lah for the "Non-sabahan"-sabahans... "BBKK" = Beli-Bah-Kutteh-Kah? ... ... ... eh? tu macam ajaran sasat nih? kof kof...





"Buli Ba Kalau Kau" is a famous Sabahan phrase which means "Of course you can..." (which sounds weird in english... :p) Anyway, if you are Sabahan... you would also know that BBKK is also a Sabahan T-shirt brand & online social community!






The clothing line of BBKK is the master mind of Alvin from the group INFINATEZ!!!





So what am I getting at here? What does BBKK - Alvin and SBG have to do with each other???

Ok... ok in case u "non-sabahans"-sabahan dunno who he is. We got abit of his info here!

IF you are looking for Malaysia’s answer to R&B crooners like Babyface or Jamie Foxx, then probably Alvin MY (of Infinatez) is your man.

While not claiming to be in the same league of the abovementioned international stars, he hopes to pave the way for the R&B and soul scene in the local music industry. Alvin is releasing his solo single called Learning You - an English ballad he fully composed.

Alvin MY (real name: Alvin Mahathir Yunus) is from the vocal group Infinatez, also a songwriter and a producer. A Dusun native; born in Devon, England, raised in Kota Kinabalu and Ranau, Sabah.

Alvin is not a newbie in the music scene. He started singing in a vocal group called Fourvoices in 2004 and started writing songs seriously in 2006 (one of which became the hit single Ada Masa). By the end of 2006, he joined Infinatez and competed in TV3’s Gangstarz in 2007, waltzing their way to the finale.

He has worked with many people in the entertainment industry such as Adlin Aman Ramli, Tiara Jacquelina, Melisa Saila, Liza Hanim, Sean Ghazi, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Musly Ramli, Siti Hajar, Helen Yap, Azmeer, Cat Farish, Imran Ajmain, Atilia, Infinatez, Luscious, Pat Ibrahim, Atama, Asmin Mudin, Illegal (mixing), C.L Toh (mastering), Edrie Hashim, Zahim Al Bakri, Jonathan Tse, Pot of ROSIN, Richado and a lot more to come.

Here is a man who is named after the money! Talented and charming, Roger is a man with many great achievements & a proud Sabahan. Here are some info on what this guitarist-blogger has done:

• Nominated for the esteemed Mandarin Oriental Fan of the Arts Award for Most Promising Artist at Malaysia’s only performing arts awards programme, the BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2003.

• Finalist at the Japan Fingerpicking Contest 2003, Yokohama, Japan (5 April 2003)

• Produced music soundtracks for Hong Kong movie “Looking for Mister Perfect” (Released in March 2003)

• Live appearance on Malaysia’s morning talk show, Malaysia Hari Ini, TV3 (13 February 2003)

• Participated in a charity Christmas album entitled “A Christmas Gift”

• A founding member to SPARKS (Sabah Performing Arts) that host the KK Jazz Festival.

• Performed with the Miri Jazz Festival this year 2009 & performed 3 times with the KK Jazz Festival from 2007 to 2009.
